Tags: 2008, HIV/AIDS, NutritionNext winter break, CHI will be leading a program in Panama to educate men and women about general nutrition and HIV/AIDS awareness. Through a partnership with the Peace Corps, students will lead discussions in several different communities on how men and women can care for themselves and their families, as well as provide resources on how their goals for good health can be accomplished.
- Research nutrition for Panamanian children and adults.
- Develop pamphlets and informational materials with Cornell students based on your research.
- Live with Peace Corps volunteers for 2 weeks over Winter Break and teach to rural Panamanian communities.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about health/nutrition and its impact on Central American culture! Please contact Kristin (kec45) for more information.
