Executive Director: Anushree Ray (ar355)

Vice President/Finance Director: Neil Nadkarni (nan9)

Project Board Director: Kerry Olmsted (keo5)

Events Coordinator: Lindsay Jaacks (lmj28)

  • Majors: Biological Sciences/Nutritional Sciences
  • College: CALS
  • Class: 2010
  • Future goals/interests: I hope to do research in the field of nutritional epidemiology, studying the links between disease and diet.  There are so many different applications within this field, and although I hope to pursue the links between diet and cancer more closely in the future, global health is also a strong interest of mine.

Editor-in-Chief, The Salubrion: Larissa Eltsefon (thesalubrion@gmail)

  • Major: Government and Classics
  • College:  Arts and Sciences
  • Class:  2009
  • Interests:  Being a Government major, I rarely get a chance to explore health issues in my classes. Co-founding The Salubrion taught me so much about the intersection of global health with politics, economics, society and culture, and medicine. It has been so pleasing for me to see students from different majors and backgrounds writing about global health from their individual perspectives and experiences. Sharing these ideas with the Cornell community has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had these past 3 years.

Website Manager: Katie Bradford

  • Major: Biological Sciences (concentration in Biochemistry)
  • College:  CALS
  • Class:  2010
  • Interests: Coming from a small town near Syracuse, I did not have much of a connection to contributing to global health.  Coming to Cornell, I learned about CHI as a sophomore, at ClubFest, attended the first General Body meeting and saw the large mass of people who were also enthusiastic about bettering social conditions around the world.  What’s more, this organization gave groups the tools to actually design and carry out projects that had and continue to have a major impact all over the world.  Working on the website, I help to showcase this hard-work and show others that we really can make a positive impact on global health.
